Thrown on the wheel in speckled stoneware, this one-off candlestick has been painted with slips and underglazes. Glaze fired to 1250°C. The decoration has been over painted with 24carat gold lustre and re fired in the kiln.

Handwash only, do not use abrasive surfaces or products on the gold. To removed wax hand wash with hot soapy water and a sponge. Every piece is unique and will have little imperfections here and there. The iron in the clay can cause the surface to be rough in parts, and small bits of superficial crazing are dotted around.
