A BIT ABOUT ME

I specialise in wheel-thrown pottery, working mainly in stoneware and occasionally in porcelain. Every piece is handmade by me — from wedging the clay to glazing and firing — meaning no two pots are ever exactly the same. Each one carries its own quiet variations, marks of the process and the hand that made it.

 

COMMISSIONS

I occasionally take on commissions for larger or more decorative pieces, particularly large platters and vases.

Large fishy vase now fired. Approx 33cm tall she was thrown in two parts with stoneware clay, pulled handles and painted with porcelain slip and cobalt fish. A beauty spot on the middle on one side where the basalt has pushed through the slip but for
